Polar is my effort to get a grip on my songwriting roots. It is also an attempt to communicate the passion I have for live music and live performance. The songs were all recorded in their entirety from start to finish, no over dubs, no punch-ins. They are live, and have intentionally left some of the mistakes and pitchy vocals in the cut. Several of the tracks on this album were written when I was young and extremely pissed off at the world. I have been told that it shows through.
